Born and raised on the volcanic Karkar Island in the ancient landscape of Papua New Guinea, Kissima Kissima is a self-taught sketching artist.

With a distinct perspective of the world around him and a desire to promote his culture and his identity through his artwork, Kissima was raised living a largely traditional island village life.

Inspired by his culture, his upbringing and the people around him Kissima, who now resides in Lae continues to develop his skills.

With a desire to one day own his own successful business selling Art, and teaching others, he works tirelessly to promote Papuan art to those he meets.
